jaZZanti concerts are mainly held in the cozy Villa Hakasalmi, Mannerheimintie 13B. We continue our cooperation with Theatre Viirus and this time there is a solo concert by Pauli Lyytinen. In the fall, we will also continue our cooperation with Hietsu is Happening! (HiH!) event series and as a new partner is the World Music Center, with whom we will organize the traditional Carnatic music concert of South Indian master flutist Shashank Subramanyam on 22.10.23.<\/p>\n
This year we are organizing another Nordic improvisation-based jaZZanti event in Balder\u2019s hall on November 24-25, where a total of six Nordic musicians will play.<\/p>\n
We will award the Art Breaks Walls recognition award for the first time. Art Breaks Walls is a recognition award given to a respected artist working in the field of jazz, improvised music and contemporary music. The award will be announced in more detail later on.<\/p>\n
Ticket prices are usually \u2013 standard ticket \u20ac20, seniors, unemployed and members of the Helsinki Jazz Association \u20ac15, students \u20ac12, friend\u2019s ticket for two \u20ac30. Deviating prices are indicated per concert. You can buy advance tickets on the website of Helsinki Jazz, except for the tickets for the concert held at the Theatre Viirus on the website of the theatre. The price of advance tickets is the same as those purchased at the door.<\/p>\n
