Flutter is a trio founded in 2022 that performs Joonas Lepp\u00e4nen’s music. The band’s unusual line-up is quite unique, the combination of bass clarinet, saxophone, organ and drums is fresh and mysterious.<\/p>\n

The group explores the so-called “organ trio” concept with an open mind, and in the music you can hear influences from jazz, classical, reggae… the general atmosphere of the music could be described with the words: “Nordic introspective, but at the same time with a twinkle in one\u2019s eye”.<\/p>\n

The band recorded their first album in early 2022 during a snow storm.<\/p>\n

The concert is supported by City of Helsinki, Svenska Kulturfonden, The Finnish Music Foundation and The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike).<\/p>\n
