The trio has been rehearsing regularly since the beginning of 2023 and will continue to do so. The group toured extensively in Finland during January-February and September-November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The ensemble began rehearsing my new compositions at the start of 2023. The band&#8217;s expressive language is relatively free but rooted in composed material. I feel that only recently have I found the blend of consonances and dissonances that I truly like. The mood of my pieces is enhanced by Markku Ounaskari\u2019s beautiful drum sound and Antti L\u00f6tj\u00f6nen\u2019s rhythmically strong bass playing, with both musicians being highly sensitive and quick to react to new situations.
