The clear melodies of the pieces give the listener something to hold on to, but the ensemble\u2019s aim is to let go, listen, and take the music in freer directions.<\/p>\n<p>The album Way To, released in August 2025, has attracted attention both in Finland and abroad. The record was nominated for an Indie Awards prize, and BBC Radio 3 presenter Tina Edwards selected it among the best releases of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The quartet brings together musicians with a broad background in Finnish jazz, improvised music, and rhythm-based music. Different generations and artistic perspectives meet in the ensemble, yet the playing emphasises attentive listening and the desire to build the music together.
