Jonathan B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m Quartet on nuorista, nousevista lahjakkuuksista koostuva suomalais-ruotsalainen yhtye, jota johtaa Kruunupyyst\u00e4 l\u00e4ht\u00f6isin oleva basisti-s\u00e4velt\u00e4j\u00e4 Jonathan B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6m. Kvartetin ilmaisu kulkee minimalistisista \u00e4\u00e4nimaisemista aina r\u00e4j\u00e4ht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n ja monikerroksiseen vapaaseen improvisaatioon. Jokainen muusikko tuo keitokseen oman ainutlaatuisen \u00e4\u00e4nens\u00e4, ja kollektiivisena lopputuloksena syntyy voimakas musiikillinen kannanotto. B\u00e4ckstr\u00f6min rinnalla kiertueella soittavat alttosaksofonisti Marcus W\u00e4rnheim (SE), tenorisaksofonisti Adele Sauros sek\u00e4 rumpali Benjamin Nylund.<\/p>\n
