Ull\u00e9n\/Bergman\/Lund \u00e4r en Stockholmsbaserad pianotrio som improviserar fritt och som kombinerar s\u00e5v\u00e4l den amerikanska fri jazz traditionen som nutida musik. Genom att kombinera r\u00e5 kraft och intensiv uppm\u00e4rksamhet p\u00e5 detaljer f\u00e5r de tre musikerna varje \u00f6gonblick att gnistra av m\u00f6jligheter. I detta ljudutrymme \u00e4r varje r\u00f6relse viktig.<\/p>\n

Ull\u00e9n, Bergman och Lund \u00e4r alla framst\u00e5ende akt\u00f6rer i skandinaviska frijazz kretsar och trion tr\u00e4ffades f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen i Anna H\u00f6gberg Attack-sextetten och har sedan dess spelat tillsammans vid flera tillf\u00e4llen. Deras debutalbum Space spelades in av Mats \u00c4leklint under pandemin 2021 p\u00e5 legendariska Fylkingen och sl\u00e4pptes av det amerikanska skivbolaget Relative Pitch Records 2022.<\/p>\n

Albumet f\u00f6rkroppsligar trions egna improvisationsestetik. Musikerna harmoniserar ivrigt med varandra och de hittar en gemensam grund f\u00f6r rytmer som rullar och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras, tumultartade i en fas och sedan f\u00f6rfinade i n\u00e4sta. Bergman guidar instinktivt sitt varma och st\u00f6djande basspel genom utrymmena som skapas av Lunds skyh\u00f6ga cymbaler och ryckande virveltrumma-rytmer, vilket ger en solid grund f\u00f6r Ull\u00e9ns h\u00e4ftiga kluster och stormiga melodiska \u00f6versv\u00e4mningar, men ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r hennes mest sk\u00f6ra uttryck, \u00e4ven om det inneb\u00e4r tystnad. Varje musiker anv\u00e4nder ibland ut\u00f6kade tekniker och ljudvariationer, men i slut\u00e4ndan ligger huvudfokus p\u00e5 raffinerad spontan interaktion.<\/p>\n
