Hennes karri\u00e4r, som startade i de musikaliska kretsarna i Paris i slutet av 1990-talet, omfattar ett brett utbud av upplevelser i olika typer av musikaliska sammanhang (t.ex. dans, teater och filmmusik). De senaste \u00e5ren kunde man h\u00f6ra henne t.ex. i den nya kvartetten av klarinettisten Louis Sclavis och i ensembler av s\u00e5ngerska-lutspelaren Kamilya Jubran, k\u00e4nd som en f\u00f6rnyare av arabisk musik.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Murcia grundade Eyeballing kvartetten 2017. Dess uttryck str\u00e4cker sig unikt fr\u00e5n elektrojazz till alternativ pop genom fascinerande minimalism. Murcia har skapat l\u00e5tar baserade p\u00e5 den amerikanske f\u00f6rfattaren Vic Moans texter, som hon sjunger eller reciterar. De exakt komponerade l\u00e5tarna lever organiskt tolkade av fyra m\u00e4sterspelare och en improvisat\u00f6rer. Sarah har bjudit in tv\u00e5 av sina l\u00e5ngvariga spelpartners: saxofonisten Olivier Py och pianisten Beno\u00eet Delbecq, som ocks\u00e5 spelar rytmmaskin. Delbecqs pianism har beundrats i Finland redan 1998 i Kartet-bandet och de senaste \u00e5ren med hans egna trio. Bandets fj\u00e4rde spelare \u00e4r tubavirtuosen Fran\u00e7ois Thuillier, k\u00e4nd fr\u00e5n Andy Emlers Megaoctet. Trummisen Steve Arguelles producerade och spelade in Eyeballing (Bureau de Son \/ D-Stream 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Den nya toppduon Beno\u00eet Delbecq &amp; Mikko Innanen upptr\u00e4der ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 konserten f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen.<\/p>\n<p>Beno\u00eet Delbecq \u00e4r en m\u00e5ngfaldigt prisad parisisk pianist och komposit\u00f6r, en trends\u00e4ttare som st\u00e4ndigt utvecklar sina id\u00e9er med ett rytmiskt och m\u00e5ngskiktad grepp. Delbecqs musikaliska kraft v\u00e4ver underbara och \u00f6vertygande verk, inspirerade av s\u00e5 olika k\u00e4llor som matematik, poesi och arkitektur.<\/p>\n<p>Samarbetspartners till Delbecqs breda utbud av band har varit m\u00e5nga framst\u00e5ende jazzmusiker som Evan Parker, Michael Moore, Jean-Jacques Avenel, Tony Coe, Han Bennink, Gerald Cleaver, Marc Ducret, Guillaume Orti, Hubert Dupont, Mark Helias, Ethan Iverson, Kris Davis, Mary Halvorson, Taylor Ho Bynum, Tomas Fujiwara, Gerry Hemingway, Samuel Blaser och s\u00e5 vidare.<\/p>\n<p>Duon spelar b\u00e5da musikernas kompositioner och improvisationer.<\/p>\n<p>Bilder: Sarah Murcia &#8211;
