Helsingfors Jazz rf grundades officiellt 01.04.1974. F\u00f6reningens urspung var Helsingfors universitets jazzklubb. V\u00e5r f\u00f6rening har organiserat jazz och improviserade musikkonserter under \u00e5ren p\u00e5 flera platser (som Anneg\u00e5rden, Espan Lava, Restaurant Laulumiehet och Villa Hagasund) i samarbete med olika akt\u00f6rer och har f\u00e5tt ekonomiskt st\u00f6d av olika samfund. I b\u00f6rjan av konserten kommer vi att ber\u00e4tta kort om de svunna \u00e5ren.<\/p>\n

Den f\u00f6rsta konserten i v\u00e5r nuvarande jaZZanti -konsertserie h\u00f6lls den 30 mars 2010 p\u00e5 Restaurant Laulumiehet, d\u00e4r PLOP och Seppo Kantonen upptr\u00e4dde. Den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen spelar PLOP p\u00e5 v\u00e5r festkonsert med Juhani \u201cJunnu\u201d Aaltonen, en av de b\u00e4rande krafterna i finsk jazz. Junnu Aaltonens trio upptr\u00e4der ocks\u00e5. Hittills har mer \u00e4n 200 konserter h\u00e5llits i jaZZanti -konsertserien.

\nV\u00e5r f\u00f6rening har som m\u00e5l ocks\u00e5 att lyfta fram jazzmusiker och band fr\u00e5n n\u00e4rliggande l\u00e4nder, och den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen upptr\u00e4der den utm\u00e4rkta estniska pianisten Kirke Karja, som \u00e4r redan bekant f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga finska lyssnare.<\/p>\n
