Sergio Castrill\u00f3n \u00e4r cellist och tons\u00e4ttare som har specialiserat sig p\u00e5 improviserad och experimentell musik. Han har samarbetat brett med b\u00e5de inhemska och internationella improvisat\u00f6rer och komposit\u00f6rer, inom olika musikgenrer och i m\u00e5nga olika ensembler.<\/p>\n

Sergio upptr\u00e4der ocks\u00e5 aktivt som solist, p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga festivaler, konsertserier och musikevenemang runtom i v\u00e4rlden. I sina framf\u00f6randen och inspelningar anv\u00e4nder han flera egna modifieringar av cellon, bland annat en \u201dcampanula\u201d byggd av Eero Ristil\u00e4, en \u201dskillo\u201d gjord av Andrew Bentley samt sin egen \u201dsercello\u201d, som han har utvecklat tillsammans med instrumentbyggaren Markko Sunni.<\/p>\n

Genom dessa m\u00e5ngsidiga projekt och innovativa tillv\u00e4gag\u00e5ngss\u00e4tt har Sergio Castrill\u00f3n etablerat sig som ett av sin generations fr\u00e4msta namn inom celloimprovisation och experimentell cellomusik.<\/p>\n
