Trion Nueva Finland grundades \u00e5r 1993 av Paroni Paakkunainen, Eero Ojanen och Teppo Hauta-aho. De hade spelat tillsammans redan sedan b\u00f6rjan av 1960 talet i olika sammanhang. Syftet med trion var att uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla f\u00e4rdigheten i fri improvisation inom den finska jazzen. Utg\u00e5ngspunkten f\u00f6r trions uttryck var ocks\u00e5 gl\u00e4djen i att skapa musik och den fria behandlingen av musikaliska element.<\/p>\n

Trions traditioner f\u00f6rs nu vidare av en ny ensemble med Eero Ojanen, Heikki Nikula och Antti L\u00f6tj\u00f6nen. Alla musiker \u00e4r v\u00e4lk\u00e4nda m\u00e4stare och har spelat med varandra tidigare \u2013 bland annat var Eero och Heikki med i trummisen och bildkonstn\u00e4ren Jonne Kestis ensembler. I enlighet med Trio Nuevas m\u00e5ls\u00e4ttningar kommer vi att f\u00e5 h\u00f6ra unik musik.<\/p>\n

Konserten \u00e4r en av specialkonserterna under jubileums\u00e5ret Jazz i Finland 100.<\/p>\n
