Aki Rissanen and Mikko Innanen

Long-time collaborators and individually successful musicians, pianist Aki Rissanen and saxophonist Mikko Innanen return to the stage with a brand-new program. Recently developed and rehearsed during a residency in Western Uusimaa, the material delves not only into fundamental questions of art and humanity, but also into the trivial and seemingly irrelevant details of life. Stylistically, Aki and Mikko navigate both the traditions of jazz and an alternate reality of the future—where anything goes.
