Double bassist Nina de Heney (b. 1962) and saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen (b. 1983) perform together for the first time in an autumn evening in Helsinki. There will be a dialogue between two experienced improvisers, where only imagination is the limit. Award-winning musician-composers are united by a desire to explore the possibilities of music and the limits of their instruments. Nina de Heney, who grew up in Switzerland and settled in Sweden in the early 80s, has been active in the field of Swedish free jazz and published e.g. three critically acclaimed solo albums. Currently, de Heney has a duo with pianist Lisa Ullén, and a trio with pianist Karin Johansson and drummer Henrik Wartel.
